Advanced Features: QR Order Management
With Last’s QR product, you can receive orders directly in LastPOS from within the restaurant—no need for manual order taking.
There are three types of QR orders that can be received. Below is an overview of each:
Table QR Order
When a customer places an order by scanning a table QR code:
The system will automatically notify staff with a sound alert (and print a ticket, if configured).
A table account will be opened automatically in the POS.
The order will appear directly on the table layout view or in the account list.
The account will be labeled with a code like: "Q001 - T1"
(where T1 is the table number).
Open QR Order (No Table)
When an order is placed through a QR code not linked to a table:
The system will notify with a sound (and print if configured).
A free/open account will be created in the POS.
You’ll find it directly in the account list.
The account will be labeled like: "Q001 - Customer Name" (if provided by the guest).
Take Away QR Order
If a customer scans a QR code for takeaway:
-
The system will send a sound alert (and optionally print the ticket).
-
A Take Away account will be created automatically in the POS.
-
It will appear in the general account list or under the Take Away view.
-
The account will be labeled like: "Q001 - Customer Name".
