FastMode: Configuration and How to Use It
What is FastMode?
FastMode is designed to streamline and speed up the sales process in your restaurant. It offers a simplified interface for taking and closing orders quickly—perfect for fast-paced environments or quick-service operations.
How to activate FastMode
To do this, go to your Last admin panel, specifically to the configuration section within the location where you want to enable FastMode. Once there, select the “FastMode” option.
Inside this section, you’ll find three options:

FastMode Settings
Enable FastMode
Activating this option will add a quick access shortcut to FastMode on the main screen of your POS.

Set as Default Option
Activating this option will make FastMode the default screen of your POS. Each time you open the POS, you’ll see the FastMode screen first.

Takeaway Option
This allows you to create takeaway orders. If you select the “Takeaway” option, the ticket and kitchen receipt will indicate that the order is for takeaway. It will also redirect you to the catalog assigned to the “Takeaway” source in your Last admin panel.
Usage Mode
FastMode is designed to simplify and speed up your sales process as much as possible.
On the screen, you will see the catalog assigned to your store, and three buttons: two for quick payment (using the payment methods configured in your POS), and a third button that will take you to advanced payment, in case you need to split orders, apply specific product payments, or add discounts.
Quick Payment
Once you select one of the two quick payment buttons:
The order will be closed as paid.
Kitchen tickets will be sent.
The customer receipt will be printed.

Checkout
This button will take you to advanced payment. There, you’ll be able to:
Once the payment is completed, the ticket will be printed and kitchen receipts will be sent.

Save Orders to Charge Later
In certain cases, you may want to create an order without charging it immediately. To do this:
Once saved, you can continue creating new orders for the next customers.
When you want to return to the saved order, you’ll find it in the Orders section of your POS.
