Integrate with Fresh KDS

Integrations: FreshKDS

How to integrate FreshKDS with Last.app

The integration between Last.app and FreshKDS allows you to automatically send kitchen items from your POS to KDS (Kitchen Display System) devices, optimizing kitchen operations and improving communication between the front of house and the kitchen.

What do you need to integrate it?

To activate this integration, you need two pieces of information, which can be obtained from the FreshKDS admin panel:
  • Integration Token
  • Location ID

Where to find this information in FreshKDS?

Integration Token

  • Log in to your FreshKDS admin panel.
  • Go to Settings > Integration Tokens
  • Copy the code shown under the “Value” column.

Location ID

  • Go to Settings > Locations
  • In the URL of the page, you’ll find the numeric ID of your location.
Example: https://app.freshkds.com/locations/12345 → The ID is 12345.

How to add this information in Last.app

  • Go to the Integrations section in your Last.app admin panel.
  • Select FreshKDS.
  • Enter the Integration Token and Location ID you obtained from Fresh.
  • Save the changes.

Important: Set up KDS devices

To ensure the integration works correctly, you must create virtual printers in Last.app (KDS type) using the same names as the devices configured in FreshKDS.

How to do it?

For each KDS device in Fresh, you must create a virtual printer in Last.app with the following settings:
  • Name: Must exactly match the device name in FreshKDS (case-sensitive).
  • Type: KDS
  • Assigned products: Link the products you want to send to that specific device.

Example
Let’s say you have the following devices in Fresh:
  • Parrilla1
  • Parrilla2
  • Plancha
In Last.app, you should:
  • Create a virtual printer named Parrilla1, type KDS, with products like grilled meats.
  • Repeat the process for Parrilla2 and Plancha, assigning the corresponding products.

When orders are generated from Last.app:

  • The items will be automatically sent to the correct KDS device.
  • The kitchen will receive real-time information on what needs to be prepared, organized by station
