How to Open a New Table Order

How to Open a New Table Order

To begin any operation related to a table, the first step is to go to the table layout view, where you can see tables marked as available, occupied, or reserved, as indicated in the legend at the bottom of the screen.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to opening a new table:

1. Select the Area

If your restaurant has more than one area (e.g. Dining Room and Terrace), choose the correct one.
You can configure the table areas from the Back Office, under the “Table Layout” section.

2. Choose a Table

Select one of the available tables (shown in white).

3. Add Table Information

Enter the relevant details such as:

  • Customer name (optional)
  • Number of guests (required)
  • Then click “Continue.”

Note: The number of guests is the only required field to open a table.

4. Select Products to Order

Choose the products the customer wants from their respective categories.
You can also add any modifiers or extras to each product if needed.

5. Send to Kitchen

Once you've completed the order, tap “Send Order” (Comandar) to send it to the kitchen or bar.
