Devices: Route Products to Specific Printers
Why separate product printing by area?
In many restaurants, printing is organized by workstation zones to improve workflow, for example, dishes go to the kitchen and drinks to the bar.
Last.app allows you to easily configure this setup.
How to assign products to specific printers
Log in to the Admin Panel.
Go to the location you want to configure.
Select the product(s) you want to edit.
Then configure:
Destination printer
Number of copies
You can assign more than one printer to the same product.
This setup only affects kitchen tickets (production orders).
The final customer ticket is handled separately.
How is the final customer ticket printed?
By default, Last.app uses the default printer assigned in the printer settings.
However, if a cash drawer is assigned to the device, the printer linked to that drawer will take priority.
To assign a drawer to a printer:
Enable the switch "Enable Till" on the desired printer.

Click Save.
The final customer ticket will print automatically from that printer when generating tickets on the assigned device.
What about delivery or pickup orders?
For delivery or pickup tickets, you can assign a specific printer to handle the printing — different from the default or device-linked printer.
To do this:
Find the section "Assign delivery Till".

Select the corresponding printer.
This ensures tickets for delivery/pickup are printed from the right station.
