Getting Started: Table Functions
How to Manage Your Tables
From the table layout view, you have several options to manage your tables. In this article, we’ll walk you through the table management menu and the view options menu.
Table Management
When you select a table, you can quickly perform the following actions:
Print the bill for the customer
Move the order to a different table
Merge the order with another table
Close the table
To access the table options menu, simply press and hold on the table for a few seconds if you're using a touchscreen or tablet.
If you're using a device without a touchscreen, right-click on the table to open the menu.
Note: If the table is closed (i.e. there’s no open bill on it), the quick menu will show the option to add a reservation to that table.
Table View Options
In the table layout view, you can quickly see useful information about each table, including:
Elapsed time since the bill was opened
Number of guests seated at the table
Total amount of the current bill
Color indicators representing the table’s status
To switch between views, use the icons located in the bottom right corner of the screen:
