How to Manage In-House Deliveries

Track the Status of Delivery Orders
From LastPOS, access the "Delivery View" to monitor all active delivery orders and their current status. To access this view, tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the Delivery section.
Once inside the Delivery View, you can select any order to review or update its current status. The possible statuses are:
Kitchen: The default state when the order is sent to the kitchen. The preparation timer starts counting from 00:00.
Ready for Pickup: The order is prepared and ready to be picked up by a driver.
Out for Delivery: The order has been picked up and is en route to the customer.
Delivered: Once the driver returns and marks the order as delivered, the system will automatically close the account assuming it has been paid.
Assign Orders to Delivery Drivers Manually
Once an order is Ready for Pickup, you can change its status to Out for Delivery and assign it to a specific driver.
Select the order.
Tap “Out for Delivery”.
Choose the driver and tap Assign.
Which driver is assigned to each delivery.
- How long each order has spent in each status.
Assign Orders Using Barcodes
To use barcode scanning, you'll need a barcode scanner connected to the device running the Delivery View:
For tablets: use a Bluetooth scanner.
For desktop devices: use a USB scanner.
You may also use apps that simulate barcode input, although these can be unreliable.
How to Manage Orders via Barcode Scanning:
Connect the scanner to your device.
Scan the order barcode (located at the bottom of the printed order ticket) to update its status:
Kitchen: Starts automatically when the order is sent to the kitchen.
Ready for Pickup: Scan the order barcode to change its status.
Out for Delivery: Scan the order barcode, then scan the driver's barcode to assign the delivery.
Delivered (Closed): Scan the driver’s barcode, then the "Close Order" barcode to close all their assigned orders.
To close one specific order: scan that order's barcode and then the "Close Order" barcode.

Generate Delivery and Time Reports
To view driver reports:
Open the menu in the top right corner of the POS.
Select “Couriers Report”.
You’ll see:
Which orders each driver is assigned
Total amounts collected, broken down by payment method
Which deliveries are still pending and which are completed
The report can be printed and includes the option to "Reset" a driver, removing their assigned orders for the current shift. All historical data will remain accessible in the Admin Panel reports.
