Advanced Features: Scheduled Orders
In LastPOS, it is possible to create scheduled orders for a specific time. These orders will automatically activate 15 minutes before the scheduled time. This activation time will be configurable from the admin panel in an upcoming version.
How to Create a Scheduled Order?
The process is the same as creating a standard order. Remember, this must be done from the POS application.
-
Go to the Delivery section, identified by the motorbike icon in the top bar.
-
Click on New Delivery at the bottom left.
-
Enter the basic details for the delivery, making sure to assign a customer.
-
In the order setup screen, configure the Pickup Time.
-
Save the order, select the products, and click Done.
You will see the scheduled order created with the assigned time. When there are 15 minutes left before the pickup time, the order will automatically become active and print automatically on the printers connected to the master device.
