Integrations: TheFork

What is TheFork?

TheFork is a reservation platform where customers can book a table online and, in many cases, prepay for their meal directly through TheFork app.

How does the integration with Last.app work?

This is a bidirectional integration designed to link reservations made through TheFork with corresponding orders in the Last.app POS system. It helps restaurants track the full customer journey, from reservation to in-venue service.
  1. Reservation:
A customer makes a reservation via TheFork. This information is sent to Last.app through TheFork's API and is automatically linked to an order in the system.

  2. Assignment:
The restaurant staff can associate the reservation with an open order in the POS to keep full traceability of both the customer and their consumption.

  3. Payment:
Payments are processed directly through TheFork. Therefore, in Last.app the order appears as an open table bill, not as a standard order processed through our POS. It is not labeled as a “TheFork” order, and it doesn’t contain any product details.

What data is received from TheFork?

When TheFork sends a reservation, Last.app receives the following information:
  • Reservation UUID
  • Assigned order ID
  • Date and time of the reservation
Info
Important:
No product data is sent, as the order is not processed through TheFork's system or passed into the POS.
The ticket will appear in Last.app as a regular open table bill, with the payment marked as completed externally.
