Reports: Creating Custom Reports
While Last.app offers a wide variety of predefined reports that cover most standard needs, you can also create your own custom reports when you need to analyze specific data or combine custom information.
How does custom report creation work?
Access the Admin Panel
Go to the Reports section from the main menu.
Click on “Custom”
In this section, you can manage and build your own reports.
Create a new report set
Give a name to your report set (e.g., “Performance by Time Slot”).
Then click “Add” within that set.
Configure the report:
Report Name: Choose a clear and descriptive name.
Dimensions and Metrics: Select the data points you want to analyze.
Important: Dimensions and metrics must come from the same data source (e.g., ActivityLogs
).Optional Filters: You can filter data by date, source, brand, etc.
Visualization Type: Choose between table, bar chart, or line chart to display your data.
Preview and save your report
Within the same set, you can create multiple reports with different visualizations or data combinations.
Add more reports if needed
Within the same set, you can create multiple reports with different visualizations or data combinations.
Click “Run” to see the results.
Then press “Save”.
You can click the ✏️ pencil icon to rename the report if needed.
