Floor plan: How to Apply a Surcharge for Terrace Tables


In Last.app, you can easily configure an automatic surcharge for terrace tables by applying an extra percentage to the total bill. This feature is ideal for restaurants that need to manage additional costs for outdoor seating areas.

How to Configure the Surcharge from the Floorplan

  1. Log in to the Last.app Admin Panel.

  2. Go to the “Floor plan” section of the location where you want to apply the surcharge.

  3. Select the terrace table(s) you wish to configure.



  4. In the “Apply an extra charge at this table” (%) field:

    • Enter the percentage you want to add as a surcharge to the total bill.





  5. Click “Apply changes”, then “Save” to confirm the configuration.




Info IMPORTANT: Once this is configured, when a bill is created for one of these tables, Last.app will automatically show the option to apply the terrace surcharge.
