LastSHOP: Add Custom Code and Scripts
Customize Your Online Store with Custom Scripts
In LastSHOP, you have full control over user navigation data and behavior. This allows you to:
Improve conversion rates.
Analyze key performance metrics.
Integrate third-party tools such as chats, tracking pixels, or surveys.
To support this, LastSHOP makes it easy and secure to insert custom scripts directly into your online store.
Where to Add Your Scripts
Follow these steps to insert your tracking scripts or custom code:
Log in to your Last.app admin panel.
Navigate to the “Shop” section at the organization level.
If you manage multiple virtual brands, use the dropdown menu to select the one you want to configure.
In the “Scripts” text field, paste your code.
Click “Save” to apply the changes.
Types of Supported Scripts
You can insert different types of scripts depending on your needs:
Inserted at the top of your store's HTML. Ideal for:
Visitor tracking (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel).
Google Tag Manager integrations.
Live chat tools (e.g., Tawk.to, Crisp, Intercom).
Survey platforms.
Body Scripts
Placed inside the <body>
of your online store. Useful for:
Conversion Scripts
These scripts are triggered upon order completion. Ideal for:
Enable Enhanced Analytics with Google or Facebook
It’s easy to start collecting events for your analytics platforms:
Access the admin panel.
Go to the “Shop” section at the organization level.
Select the brand you want to configure using the dropdown.
Enter your Google Analytics ID or Facebook Analytics ID in the corresponding field.
You’ll start receiving real-time events automatically—no further configuration needed.
Best Practices & Warnings
The code you insert is not validated, so make sure it is safe and trusted.
Once a script is installed, you are responsible for its performance and user impact.
Scripts are applied at brand level, meaning they will affect all locations linked to that brand.
