How does our integration with Just Eat work?
The integration between Last.app and Just Eat is bidirectional, meaning both platforms exchange information in real time. This connection also enables automatic order acceptance, so all orders received from Just Eat are automatically accepted in Last.app.
When a customer places an order through your Just Eat store, Last.app automatically receives the following data:
Last.app sends all the information needed to set up and maintain your Just Eat online store:
Category names from your catalog
Product names, descriptions, and images
Catalog format (list view or collection view)
Order preparation time
Opening and closing hours
Availability of products and modifiers
Limitations of the Just Eat integration
The integration with Just Eat has a few restrictions imposed by the platform itself. These features are not available through Last.app and must be managed elsewhere:
Function | Where It’s Managed |
Early pickup notification | Not available |
Promotions and discounts | JustEat Partner Portal |
Delivery zones | JustEat Partner Portal |
Order cancellations | Manually in Last.app |
Early pickup notifications
The “Ready for Pickup” button in Last.app has no effect on Just Eat orders. Just Eat uses the default preparation time configured in Last.app for all orders.
Any discounts or promotions must be configured directly in the Just Eat Partner Portal.
Delivery zones
Delivery areas must be set and adjusted directly in your Just Eat management platform.
Order cancellations
Orders cannot be canceled through Last.app. Additionally:
If Just Eat cancels an order, this cancellation is not automatically reflected in Last.app.
To remove a canceled order from your Last.app system, you must manually delete the account.

Important: Manually deleting canceled orders ensures they don’t affect your billing reports.
